No, and we've updated both CV EVA to 6.0.2 and the firmware on the EVAs since I asked this.

Hi All,
HPSIM 5.1, CommandView EVA 6.0.1
From the data gathered by HPSIM, under Storage Volumes for the EVA is a column "Visible to hosts" and in all cases here it is "Unknown"

Anyone know if there is a fix for this?
This happens with the view for both our EVA3000 and EVA8000.
We're still on V5.1 of the EVA8000 firmware and 4.0.0.4 or wherever the dots are for 4004 for the EVA3000.

Hi

I think you would need the HBA provider to gather this info. I used to have a cluster connected to an EVA and I had to install the HBA provider to get this level of detail in HP SIM.

You can get the providers from the following page : http://h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/smisproviders.html

Hope it helps

fred
