Generic Radis Error

When applying patch based on the scanning result, the patch is not
applied by "VPM Generic Radi Error".
Place in which it confirmed it with View Patches Installed by VPM
Patch Status is displayed as "install -Requested "
VPM event message and httpd-3466.log are appended and confirm it,
please.
SIM and VPM are on the same server.
Could you teach this cause?

HP SIM version----5.1
VPM version----2.0.3(new Install,not upgrade)
SIM and VPM Server OS----Windows2003 SP1 R2
Target System----RedHatLinux ES4 update4(not up2date)
Acquire Update----Normal
choosing patch----RHSA-2006-0754 GnuPG openfile.c and stack overwrite errors
PING from CMS to Target----normal
Firewall or antivirus----CMS and Target are not install

Hi,

Looks like the problem you are seeing is related to a non Radia client properly installed in the target machine.

Could you please either uninstall the radia client or manually remove the /opt/Novadigm/ManagementAgent/nvdkit folder?
Right after, reset the machine, apply the VPM Patch Agent for Linux again and remake the apply patch.

Thank you for advice.

This case was able to be solved.
The cause is /etc/hosts file edit mistake.
The following were executed,

(1)Edit of hosts file
(2)Uninstallation of VPM client
(3)Deletion of /opt/Novadigm/ManagementAgent folder
(4) Linux reboot
(5)VPM Agent is distributed from the VPM server.
(6)Execution of patch application

Everything was being written in /opt/hp/vpm/log/connect.log.
It was slow to notice the existence of this log.

There is no VPM manual that is more detailed than the "userguide.pdf" or
it looks for.
Will you know?

The name is output by mistake.

One was not able to be logged in,
When the second account is registered, it seems to be linked with another person's information.
