I'm currently having problems receiving any Disk Failure alerts and was wondering if someone could help. I've installed the Proliant Support pack and have SNMP setup correctly(I believe). Insight Manager sees that there is a disk error but it won't send out an email or register the even in the Events tab. I have ISM setup to alert on all Major,Critical, and Minor events

Remote machine with the disk error:

OS:Windows 2000
Machine Type:DL580
Drive:Ultra3 Scsi (internal drive)

Insight Manager

Build:C.05.00.01.01

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thx

Dave

If the PSP version is 7.6 or later, you need to apply the MIB update to HP SIM. http://www.hp.com/servers/swdrivers
