Thanks, David. One of the servers I tried this on is a new DL380 G5, but it still reports zero for these values. Odd.

Hello,

I'm trying to retrieve power utilization information from my ProLiant servers using the following OID:

CPQHLTH-MIB:cpqHeFltTolPowerSupplyTable
OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.2.9.3

Within the table are three OIDs that I'm particularly interested in:

CPQHLTH-MIB:cpqHeFltTolPowerSupplyMainVoltage
OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.2.9.3.1.6
The input main voltage of the power supply in volts.

CPQHLTH-MIB:cpqHeFltTolPowerSupplyCapacityUsed
OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.2.9.3.1.7
The currently used capacity of the power supply in watts.

CPQHLTH-MIB:cpqHeFltTolPowerSupplyCapacityMaximum
OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.2.9.3.1.8
The maximum capacity of the power supply in watts.

However, the values of these three OIDs always appear to be 0. Other OIDs within the table appear to return valid information. I've tried this with several different generations of ProLiants and a couple of versions of the management agents (including the latest).

Does anyone know how to get these OIDs to return valid information, or is there a way to retrieve this information with another MIB?

Thanks.

Most ProLiants prior to generation 5 and BladeSystem without iLO2 don't have circuitry to report this data.
