Greetings,
I am attempting to get the Remote Support Pack to install but keep running into the attached error message:
"Unable to create workspace directory: C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\SWMAgent\.marimba\ISEE_CMS_SWMAGENT"

I can manually remove the SWM Agent from the CMS via reg edits per the "HP Service Essentials Remote Support Pack - Software Manager Troubleshooting Guide" pages 11/12. This enables me to attempt the install again but still cannot get past this roadblock.

Windows 2003 Server Standard SP1. HPSIM 5.1. RDP console-mode connection with local admin privileges.

Any insight is greatly appreciated!!

j

Dan - the install doesn't get to a point where that folder is created. The SWMAgent folder is there but unable to create the .marimba folder.

j
i gave that a shot but still receive the same error. perhaps the "workspace directory" pathname cannot have a space in it either...?!?!

i've also attempted from the physical console.

and now on SP2.

thanks for the info though!

j
