What is SMI-S CIMOM?
When I try and run Identify Systems, I get 'This system does not have any SMI-S CIMOM installed' message. On the ones which do work, it says 'This system has WBEM protocol support'.
Where exactly is it looking for this info and what can I do to fix it?

I am running some test to ensure HPSIM can see all of our Dell servers and give specific details on Product name as well as OS Name.
I have configured a domain admin username and I am using this account to get WBEM/WMI info from remote servers.
I have managed to get some of the information back ok on some of these servers, but on others I have the OS Name or Product Name or both missing.
All our servers are configured exactly the same and just can't seem to figure out why some work while others don't.
Anyone else have any ideas?
Thanks David. This is something I am not familiar with. I can see the tools/custom tools/new custom tool in the menu, but how do I create what you have asked me to as I can't seem to copy and paste?!
