      <description>What do you want to know in windows in you're event log? because if i remember well some information wont show in event log has exemble: hardware failure!but you can get information from windows into HP SIM, it just depend and want you want to know?</description>

      <description>You can use the automatic event handling task available under "Options-&amp;gt;Events-&amp;gt;Automatic Event Handling" and select the events to be written on to the System Log.</description>

      <description>what i want to know is:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;my server is running with Raid 5, when a disk failure there is no logging on the windows event log, but only got a message about the Raid is rebuilding.</description>
