Hello,
I've probably a small problem here with Systems Insight Manager 5.1 - HP-UX, Build version: C.05.01.00.00.02.
I can run 4 times a command line tools (same or different)on the CMS then after I've got this error:
Cannot Open SshSessionChannel for node. The administrator does not permit this channel to be opened.open failed. The failure is due to configuration problems and and/or potential de
defects in the target systems SSH server.

and in the syslog:
sshd[24787]: error: no more sessions

I've tried to connect the CMS or run remote command by ssh from another machine and it's still working fine...

If I 'hpsim restart', I'm able again to run 4 command line tools then again the same problem. Any idea ? Thanks !

We've got the same problem, but not necessarily after 4 tools... it seems to depend more which way the wind is blowing ;-)

We're running... Systems Insight Manager 5.1 with Update 1 - HP-UX Build version: C.05.01.00.01.13 on HP-UX 11.31!

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the version off SSH the client is running and how SSH is configured. So far we haven't found the magic solution... but if we do I'll post it.

I think you are using the following SSH-version.
"In HP-UX Secure Shell A.04.30, users can share up to only 10 sessions over a single network connection."

Use a newer verson and increase the limit of MAX_SESSIONS.
Refer to
http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-7494/ch01s03.html

Kind regrads,
Torsten
