I need to set up one server for a longer timeout value for hardware polling, but when I try to change the settings from the protocol settings link for the server, it reverts back to Use global defaults. I also tried through Options &gt; Protocol Settings (which runs as a task) doing a run now, but it still doesn't take the change. What am I doing wrong? <BR />Thanks.

I'm using Version 5.1. Any change I make to the system protocols doesn't save, it reverts back to the global protocols.

I am having the same problem. I'm trying to increase the timeout for a number of remote servers, but it always goes back to the default settings. Right now I have a daily task to change the setting, but it still seems to have reverted every time I look.
