topic Notifications - specific servers in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I went to the trouble of typing IP addresses etc in to create lists of each type of server in our organisation, Data, mail, finance. There's no easy way to distinguish between these, so it was quite a bulky job.

When setting up notifications is there any way to use the lists specified rather than say machine type... at the moment I'm using servers, which covers what i need. But also things like photocopiers who've decided to promote themselves as print servers, which apparently comes under the same bracket.

Cheers, James

The short answer is that you cannot notify by system list in this version, see this link:

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=519129
