If it's creating the database locally then you could use the account details for the account you're using for the install. So they would be domain credentials.

Hi all-

I need to install HPSIM and based on my understanding, it is free to use. However, I have serveral questions to ask:

1. Where can I download the SIM software?
2. What is the hardware requirement to support this?
3. Is there any step by step procedure on how to set this up along with setting up the SQL database?

Please advise....

BIG POINTS!!

Here is the link to the download library which will have all of the manuals:

http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/infolibrary.html

If you are using a Windows OS, here is the link to the download. IT is free, but you will have to register:

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/download.html#windows
