BTW, I also went into Options/Events/SNMP Trap Settings, selected bkupexec.mib and set Enable Trap Handling to No with no change.

It appears that the server Health Status is yellow but there is no indication of an error in the System Management Homepage.

Please let me know how to fix this.

Thanks.

This may be an existing issue. Please provide any links for additional information.

I have a PC running Windows 2000 server and HP SIM 5.1 monitoring two HP Proliant DL380s running Windows 2000 Server and Veritas Backup Exec 10.0 for Windows Servers.

Both servers are fully updated with PSP 7.60A and shows all green in VCA.

When the servers bootup, HP SIM receives a minor error from the servers stating "User is advised to take action (Backup Exec)".

The System Management Homepage for the server shows no errors.

What can I do to fix this?
