Not receiving notifications when a system reboots

I'm not to insight so I may have something miss configured. I'm not receiving alerts when a system reboots. Is there a setting to turn this on?

Hi Marson!

This is how I set that up. Go to Options, Events, SNMP trap settings. Select the snmpv2-mib.mib. In the trap name section, there is one for a cold start. I set that to Critical so I would get the notifications.

I looked but do not have the snmpv2-mibsnmpv2-mib.mib. Any ideas?

I am betting you don't have the latest MIBS. Here is the link to download them and this one is lested. FOllow the instructions and you should be good to go!

I'm running HP SIM 5.1 - MS Windows, I did not see a MIB update for this version.

It was under the rfc1215.mib file. Thanks for the help.
