Can SIM DB be renamed

I have installed SIM to a remote SQL server and the database is called Insight_v50_0_xxxxxxxxx. I would like to rename this database to meet our naming standards. Anyone know what I need to do to accomplish this?

If I can't rename the database is there any way to install it to a database that I created prior to installing?

For the MS side :
Renaming a Database
In MicrosoftÂ® SQL Serverâ ¢ 2000, you can change the name of a database to be changed. Before you rename a database, you should make sure that no one is using the database and that the database is set to single-user mode. The name of the database can include any characters as long as they follow the rules for identifiers.

HP SIM side :
the following file contains infos on the DB used by the HP SIM server : database.props. It is located on C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\config (default installation path)
I would update the following line :
hp.Database.databaseName=Insight_v50_0_XXXXXXXXX

So to summarize :
!!! Backup DB first !!!
1/stop the HP SIM services
2/Stop the DB
3/Rename the DB
4/Change the config file "database.props" to match new name
5/restart the service

I have never done it,but that 's the way I would do it.
