I am running the latest Insight Agents on a W2K3 DL380G3
I am running Insight Manager 7 sp2.1
If I click on the entry for the server in question and go to its "System Management Homepage" all works ok. However if I then click on the link for "Insight Management Agents" it goes to a framed page
http://servername:2381/webagent/findex.tpl
Which is what I would expect, however the navigation frame in the bottom left corner (webagent/navframe.tpf) is failing with a 404 Error, I have looked on the server and the file navframe.tpf is there located at:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\CPQMgmt\Webagent\Eng\

I have uninstalled and re-installed the Insight Agents and it remains the same. Any ideas anyone. I have several servers that work ok but several that are showing this same problem.

Help much appreciated.

Brett

Check the SNMP service, security tab. If you have enabled option Accept SNMP packets from these hosts add 127.0.0.1 applay, restart SNMP servis, check for HP Insight web agent is started and that's it.

ivan
Thanks Ivan. That solved my problem, I did only have the Insight Manager Console's IP in the Accept from. Adding 127.0.0.1 solved it.

Thanks again

Peter
