Hello I just have a quick question on the SMH. I've just started a project of updating HP agents and Firmware/drivers on 500+ servers. I've noticed that this project doesn't have me updating the SMH on any of the servers. Isn't this an important part of Sim to get standard across all servers? What kind of issues will I see with SIM having older versions of the SMH out there?

My SIM server is 5.1 Build C.05.01.00.00
My baseline is PSP 7.70 for 2k3 server and 7.60 for 2k servers. The only thing else the project calls for is for each servers Rom Flashes to be updated.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this.

Ryan

I would go ahead and update the SMH. ALl of the components are released to work together within a version. You shouldn;t see any issues if you don't update, but the pages probably won't be uniform. I like all of mine to be nice and tidy and at the same level as the agents.

If you are updating the servers by installing the latest PSP, It will update the SMH for you. Keep in mind, if your server was running PSP 7.3(it think) or below. It does not use the Host OS Authentication.
