topic SMS alerts within SIM in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Have been testing SMS alerts within SIM for some weeks now with the aid of an SMS gateway.

I create an event within SIM and the alert forwards to a email account fine but the body of the message is not being encoded correctly. The support contact from the SMS gateway company has requested the actual format that HP uses when the email is sent ? He indicated that his SMS gateway software is not decoding the MIME structure correctly.

He also asked am I able to "generate the emails as plain text, rather than multi-part
mime encoded?"

I have tried all three format shown within the drop down "message format" ie standard, Pager/SMS and HTML with no success.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks
Leon
