      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are you talking about the System Management Homepage ? The SMH is part of the Insight agents. It uses the OS accounts for authentification. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BY default the local admin group has access to the SMH. The user administrator also unless you are trying to connect to an SMH running on a domain controller( no local admin accounts on DCs).&lt;BR /&gt;Administrator account may have been renamed also.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you are talking about the web interface of the HP SIM application, then could you give more details on which version of HP SIM it is ? more details on the message itself ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;best regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fred</description>

      <description>I am talking about the System Management Homepage, the part of the Insight agents taht uses the OS accounts for authentification. every time I try to use the local admin account on the server it does not allow it to logon. ver 7.60a on a W2K SP4 server</description>

      <description>That should work, you should be able to use either local or domain accounts.&lt;BR /&gt;I'd check the account isn't disabled or similar.</description>
