https://community.hpe.com/t5/server-management-systems/ups-with-hp-sim-5-1/m-p/4051598#M28756 You'd need to configure SNMP on the UPS just like you would for a server.<BR />This would include both allowing SNMP Access from HPSIM as well as setting a trap destination, again the HPSIM Server.<BR /><BR />Not sure if they're included by default, but you may need to load the MIBs into HPSIM to decode any SNMP Traps sent. See mxmib and mcompile commands.<BR /><BR />You may also need to add the device manually into HPSIM using the Options -&gt; Manage System Types functionality.
