Try this. (it involves downtime)

Remove the Insight Agents, remove the Windows SNMP service. REBOOT. Reinstall SNMP, then the Insight Agents.

I have been searching the forum for a solution to my problem, but did not find a solution, so I try a posting instead.

After I upgraded the Insight Agent to 7.90 on the server that is running Systems Insight Manager. The system model is showing "System Model: NULL" The services: HP Insight Foundation Agents, HP Insight Event Nootifier, and HP Insight Nic Agenst. Do not start. We allso have problem reading agent information from a 3.rd party monitoring program.

Anyone have an ide on what is wrong?

Thanks
Erik
Hi Erik,

It sounds like the agents did not install correctly. I'd recommend uninstalling the agents and reinstalling them if you have not done so allready.

I'd like to add, that you should also update the System Management Homepage to the latest as well. There are some dependencies between agents and SMHP versions.

Hi
Thanks for the replay. I have reinstalled the PSP. But it did not solve the problem.

What I know is that, as soon I downgrade to PSP 7.51a, it all works. But it would be nice too be able to upgrade to a newer PSP. I allso had the same problem when i installed PSP 7.60. Back then i reinstalled the 7.51a packeg, and all worked fine.
