Hi,

HP Insight foundation agent service(CqMgHost) is stopped and not getting started. Error 1053: the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion

This happened after sp2 windows service pack been installed. Window 2003 server.

Questions and answers are via the forum.

I'd first check that the SNMP service is starting correctly. The Foundation Agents rely on that.

We've added SP2 to a few servers here and I've not seen it break the Foundation Agents.

SNMP aswellas all the dependency service are running. but still i cant start hp insight foundation agent service alone.Any idea?
