HPSIM can usually recognise a machine just with SNMP, so if you have snmp installed, check it is configured to allow HPSIM access.

Hi

A few comments here :
the TC 2120 and the LC 2000 are HP netservers.
The TC2120 is an entry level server, it has no management agents dedicated. You can use snmp but you will get very little about the server itself. Nothing but pure snmp, link up or down , login events...There is no mib to describe this machine. If the machine is running windows 2000 or 2003, you may get a few infos through WMI.
Regarding the LC2000, you need to install the toptools agents on it and have snmp properly configured. Agents can be found here :
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=19399&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=50440&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=226#7832

hope it helps

fred
