Alerts not coming into SIM console

The HP servers are in HP SIM and registered as servers. When I send a test trap is registers. When I reboot the server I do not get any traps sent. Thus I have no alert for the server rebooting. Any help would be appreciated.

In HPSIM you don't get event for reboot. when server is rebooted "system unreacheable" event will be generated. Once system comes up- the HP SIM get an event "system reacheable"

I also do not get the system unreachable events. I used to. It seems to have just stopped.

HPSIM detects server outages from polling not from traps.
You can set up an alert based on the Cold Start Trap. But that would depend on the OS sending it.
Also, some servers boot faster than the polling cycle of 5 minutes, so they can be missed. You can change that to a shorter cycle if you want.

Is this only happenning to one server or many:

Make sure has this example all are correct:

1 All you re server SNMP setting are set for TRAPS>Communite name(correc name),TRAPS>Communite name>traps destination> 1-server Insight & 2-127.0.0.1

#2 All you re server snmp setting are set for SECURITE> Accepted community name>Communite name(correc name),All you re server snmp setting are set for SECURITE> Accepted community name>Communite name> Accepted packet from these host>1-server Insight & 2-127.0.0.1.

3# in youre Home page manegement>Setting>Securite
A_IP Binding-Nothing
B_IP Restricted Login-Nothing
C_Local Server Certificate-Nothing
D_Local/Anonymous Access-Nothing
