Monitor Sun Servers

Can we monitor Sun V210, V480 and V880 servers with HPSIM? Is there documentation somewhere we can reference?

You can monitor for up / down etc. That's what the polling task does.
If SNMP has access to the device then you can gather a bit more info.
There is a white-paper on managing Sun servers via HPSIM. There was also talk of using wbem, but I don't think that's been too successful.

That document does not list the servers mentioned above? Should it be able to monitor those as well?

With SNMP, if installed on these Sun servers, and if you can get the MIBS from Sun for these servers, yes.

Sun SPARC servers running Solaris use WBEM services for management, but we have not had much success talking to the Solaris/SPARC WBEM service from HP SIM.
