      <description>You can monitor for up / down etc. That's what the polling task does.&lt;BR /&gt;If SNMP has access to the device then you can gather a bit more info. &lt;BR /&gt;There is a white-paper on managing Sun servers via HPSIM. There was also talk of using wbem, but I don't think that's been too successful.</description>

      <description>Sun SPARC servers running Solaris use WBEM services for management, but we have not had much success talking to the Solaris/SPARC WBEM service from HP SIM.</description>
