    <description>Hi Folks,&lt;BR /&gt;I'm having an issue on my insight manager pc. The event notification service is not starting. When I try and start it ig gives me Event ID 7024.&lt;BR /&gt;Any ideas.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance&lt;BR /&gt;Stephen</description>

      <description>If you are referring to the HP Insight Event Notifier Service (CIMnotify) then I'd disable it, you generally do not need it. &lt;BR /&gt;You configure HPSIM to point to the SMTP Server, you don't need the Notify Utility to do it.&lt;BR /&gt;I've disabled the Service on all my Servers.</description>
