I have a comment in the same way : why SIM downloads about 300 to 400 elements every time is refreshes, even if the Systems and Events pane is folded and the central pane displays the system overview, which is I think the most simple picture ?
It can take a considerable time to refresh when the CMS is in a central location and accessed from a remote site.
Thanks.

Probably the stupidest question asked about SIM but "how do you stop it clicking everytime it refreshes the screen" or when I hit and option.

I don't want to turn my sound off but in a shared office - its annoying.
