I have been working on SSH to get custom commands to work HP SIM and 2003 and I keep getting
EXCEPTION CLASS: com.hp.mx.dtf.sshClient.MxSshFailedConnectionException
EXCEPTION: Unable to contact the SSH server on node "server.name.com". I have gone through the 2003 workaround, other responses to forum questions and the HP SSH documentation troubleshooting section. I have, at this point, uninstalled and re-installed SSH. When I get to the point to run mxagentconfig I get a message Saying failed with exception. In gui it tells me it cannot connect to ssh server. I simply want to run a custom command. ALso, sorry this is long, in SIM System Page I get this now
WBEM:2.6, SNMP:1.0, SSH:Access Denied -- host key may have changed, SMH:1. But I cannot run mxagent config using domain name or local administrator.

Forgive me, but might there be a domain or system policy that doesn't allow remote access? I assume you've checked this (I believe it is in the white paper) but this is the #1 issue with Windows Server 2003.

I go into the admin documents and settings directory, delete the .ssh directory and use mxadminconfig to reconnect. It looks like it hangs but give it time and it will recreate the .ssh directory and you should be able to connect. In SIM 4.2 I think you have to do something different can't remember what though.
