Memory Size Error in Data Collection Report

I'm using HP SIM 5.1 SP1. A target server that has 16GB of RAM is only reporting 4021528KB for the Memory Size (KB) in the Data Collection report.

In addition, I created a custom report with all the DIMM Slots fields selection and there are eight DIMM slots reporting a Memory Size of 2097152KB.

Also, if I bring up the Properties report of the server, select Status, and the select Memory Utilization, the Total Physical Memory is reporting 16GB.

Anyone else experience this? Is there a bug or 4GB limitation in the Memory Size field?

Basically, I need a report that displays the Total Physical Memory. Any suggestions?

I am Curious if this is related to the PAE stuff. Have you included "/pae" switch in the boot.ini file ???

Yes, the /PAE switch has been added to the BOOT.INI file.

Eric,

What OS is installed? Windows Standard edition only supports 4G, even with the /PAE switch added to the boot.ini file. You'll need either 32-bit Enterprise edition or 64-bit Standard edition to utilize the full 16G of installed memory.
