    <description>OK then you've got snmp connectivity from the CMS to the Liebert.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What you can do is actually create a new system type and add that. Running Identification should identify it in HPSIM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You  may also want to look at snmp on the liebert to see if it has a trap destination option. You'd then point that at the HPSIM Server.&lt;BR /&gt;Finally you'd want to see if there are any Liebert MIBs you can import (google mcompile &amp;amp; mxmib) into HPSIM which will then decode any traps sent from the Liebert to HPSIM.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hello!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I want to manage a Liebert-UPS with HP-SIM.&lt;BR /&gt;I wanted to reate a STM rule for the UPS. But I get following error: &lt;BR /&gt;Object value - retreiving from system:  The request timed out, or the community string is incorrect, or there is no agent for this object identifier.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What can I do, that I get Informations from UPS via SNMP?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thx&lt;BR /&gt;hansi&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Configure the Liebert UPS snmp correctly. If you cannot access it from the HPSIM Server, either snmp is not configured correctly or it doesn't support it.&lt;BR /&gt;You can try just using the Options -&amp;gt; Manage System Types and going for new. Just enter the IP address or name of the device and specify the community name you think is correct. You should get a reply.</description>
