HP SIM 5.2 System overview screen, where

Does HP SIM 5.2 have the system overview screen, as found in versions as current as HP SIM 5.0 sp #5?
I cannot find it, in places where it existed in HP SIM 5.0. In SIM 5.0, it was found on the default homepage (& missing in SIM 5.2), and in the systems and events column (again missing in SIM 5.2).
I cannot find this (at least not yet) in the SIM 5.2 documentation. The sample screens, in the documenation, do not show the system overview option.

Attached is a a screen shot from HP SIM 5.0 sp # 5. It shows the system overview screen, and the option selection on the systems and events column.

Yes, this has been answered
Not a bug,it's design. Now "System Overview" page is not avaliable in HP SIM 5.2

My opinion
This was a *really* poor design decision.

To use an automobile analogy
Where is the brake pedal - to engage the brakes to stop the automobile?

The brake pedal was removed in the HP SIM version 5.2 release; the software design engineers thought it was no longer needed.

I agree with you.
This new 'feature' is the reason why I won't upgrade my production server to 5.2.
5.0 SP 1.1 is working well so far, and the system overview collection is avalable.
Wait for 5.2 sp1 ?

I can't also not figure out, why HP has removed this. This makes HP SIM just less user friendly as before - I hope it will come back soon with SP1.

This was really a step back for the program.

I doubt it will be returning. Here is a quote I recieved when I ask our HP rep:

"The reason that the System Overview was removed was because it was frequently wrong. Well, itâ s probably more accurate to say that it wasnâ t necessarily wrong, but misleading."

One would think that if it was wrong or misleading, they would fix it, not just get rid of it.

That's too funny. Of all the things that don't work reliably in SIM, they get rid of the one thing that I found very useful and have never had any problems with.

I agree. I wish they wouldn't have gotten rid of it. Unfortunately, I have to run 5.2 to use the new remote support tools.

Just would like to agree to all posters, that I'm missing this feature also very hard. It's a poor job from hp. Realy hope they thing about it.
