Using Version Control Repository Manager 2.1

While trying to update the repository, I get the following error:

Message: The automatic repository update failed because an error occurred while retrieving the download site catalog.

Error for file: catalog.xml
Error code: 2147500037

Can you tell me the full version of VCRM.

To Get the full version, you need to keep the mouse pointer over version '2.1' in VCRM's home page to get the tool tip.

Check if you can access ftp://ftp.hp.com and ftp://ftp.compaq.com using IE or with any FTP client tools from VCRM's system. If you are able to access, try with VCRM Update now. Error might be a temporary issue

I can use IE and other ftp tools to access the site; however, I continue to get the error.

immediately following this event in the VCRM log, I get the following event:

The Version Control Repository Manager POSTed a Version Control Repository Manager/Automatic Update category event with severity code 4 to URL http://slcitapp01.na.corp.ipgnetwork.com:280/cpqevent.

While looking at my firewall logs, it looks as though the VCRM is finding the file:

"Retrieved 15.216.110.139:/pub.servers/software/WindowsIntegrity/catalog.xml"

Check your firewall log for file downloads from below URLs.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software2/COL3293/catalog.xml
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/servers/software/WindowsIntegrity/catalog.xml

both the above files where reachable by VCRM?

These are the only events I see in the logs:

Feb 28 2008 08:05:18: %PIX-6-303002: x.x.x.x Retrieved 15.216.110.139:/pub/softlib/software2/COL3293/catalog.xml
