HP Systems Insight Manager Running Slow

Has anyone experienced slow loading of pages for HP SIM. Have checked the hosting server for memory and hardware errors and all's ok. The database integrity is fine too.

Any idea's anyone?

We made some more data collection based on WBEM call that takes more time then SNMP, previously it was SNMP. This may be the reason for that.

SNMP is setup and configured ok,
I think I'm going to have to rebuild the box, is this a common issue? Has anyone else had the same problem, initial webpage slow in loading..

is this a local or/and a remote behaviour

have you checked the connection speed setting of your NIC?
pls set to fix value not autosensing.

do you use the fqdn for accessing the site or shortname ?
check your DNS/WINS configuration
netbios enabled ?

It is Windows 2003 Hosting HP SIm
Access Via IE
Locally fine - Via IE very slow loading the page
NIC's set to Full Auto - Ping response to the server is fine

Accessed using shortname, the server name and port number via IE

100 full or 1gb auto ?
WINS/Netbios enabled ?
is it faster, if you use the fqdn for access ?
which java version do you use on the client ?
