Buu,

Devices in Insight Manager change status according to information gathered from the agents on the servers. There are four possible states: Normal, Minow, Major, or Critical.

The fact that your servers have changed state could be anything; a failed hard drive, a disconnected NIC, overheating, etc. You need to look at the other events associated with the server, or look at the server's managment home page or insight agents, to see what's going on.

Good luck,
- Steve
Hey everyone,

Insight manager is ver new to me. It was just dropped into my hands and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out all the capabilities and errors I get from Insight Manager. I was hoping that I can get as much help as possible.

Currently, I'm getting a device change status on my some of my servers. Here's the exact message:
"The device status has changed due to one of the polling tasks, see below for additional details"

Please help if you have any idea of what I'm experiencing. Thanks.

Buu Quach
