Hi,

We have many Windows 2003 servers that have HP Emulex cards in them. However we dont want the version control agent to show these. Is there any way from excluding them from showing within the version control agent screen (see attached).

Regards,
Steve

You need to create a custom software baseline in the VCRM. Go to your VCRM server in SIM, select the "Tools & Links" tab, and then click the "HP Version Control Repository Manager" link. This will bring up your VCRM page.

Click on the "Create a Custom Software Baseline" link along the left and walk throught the wizard. You can take an existing package (say the 8.00 SP) and then add or pull out stuff as you see fit.

Nelson

I forgot one thing. Once you have a custom package, you need to assign that to all your servers (for that OS). You can do that using the "Replicate Agent Settings..." tool in SIM (under the "Configure" menu).

Nelson
