no packages within Remote Support Software Manager

i have installed hp sim 5.2 and also remote support software manager. i am able to configure it successfully but i dont see any packages. i have even tried uninstalling and installing the remote support software manager without any luck. plz help!!!

Hi

First test :
try to ping the following site :
isee-updates.americas.hp.com
if ok go further with the reading if not try to fix this first.

Second Test :
How was it installed ? was it though the local console or remote through a terminal server session ?
If it was through a terminal server session, was it using the console mode (/console) or not ?
IF you were not using it, then uninstall though add remove program or start / program/ hewlett Packard /SWMAgent /SWMAgent uninstall. reboot the server and reinstall using the console mode.

Can you see the Marimba icon in the system tray ? if not check the service for it is the marimba software who is in charge of downloading the packages.

try this and see if it help !

Hi, thank you so much. i was not able to ping to the isee-updates.americas.hp.com.

checked the host file and made the following entry there:

15.232.64.127 isee-updates.americas.hp.com
15.232.48.172 services.isee.hp.com

issue is fixed.
