Hello,

in SMH v2.1.10.186 under SLES 10 SP1 I cannot import the SIM 5.2 (on SLES 10 SP1) selfsigned Certificate.

It seems not to be an SIM issue, because I can import the certificate in ILO2!

Any ideas?

Thanks and regards
Rudolf

Do you get any kind of error? Did you check the log to see if there was anything logged there?

-Rich

Ok, one other question. Is the SMH you are trying to import this cert into on the same system you are running HP SIM? Or is it on another remote SLES 10 system?

Thanks,

-Rich

Both systems are SIMs - and I neither can import the certificate from same system, nor from the "other" - on both nodes. I've never seen a problem with importing a certificate in a SIM (e.g. under Windows, SLES9 SP3).

Is this new with SLES10 and SIM 5.2?

Thanks and regard
Rudolf
You might try forcing a reinstall of the SMH 2.1.10.186 on the system and see if the problem goes away. Some people that have seen this issue have seen it go away with a reinstall or upgrade of the SMH on the system having the issue. Or you might try upgrading to 2.1.11 if you like to see if it has an effect. I do not think that it is a problem with SIM 5.2.

-Rich
