Hi.
I hope someone can help as i am out of ideas.
I have installed a test version of SIM5.2 and monitored key machines in our domain.
Heres the problem. Even though the VCA part is deployed and configured correctly when I run a report selecting the Software Firmware Baseline information I don't get back the required info. All the fields are populated, including the "Configured repository" but the ones I am interested in "Software Firmware Baseline Name, Version and Latest version" are all blank. What have I missed here?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Russ.

I too am having issues with this report. VCA seems to be configured correctly. When in the SMH of the server, VCA show what is currently installed and the latest versions available in the repository. So I believe that version control is configured correctly.

However, when I run a report from SIM 5.2 on a server and only check "Software Firmware Baseline Information" from the general section, the report is blank.

- Rick

Hi, I`ve tried that, it populates the the report with info about the software versions the server is running but makes no comparison to the software baseline.

????

Hi!

Have you try to apply the new hotfix for HP SIM 5.2??
It maybe could solve the problem for you.
It is about Software Status Polling to properly retrieve status from the Version Control Agents and display the software status correctly in the system list.

Best Regards
/Micke Christenson
