PSP installation - linux nodes

Hi,

I am working on SIM 5.2, and trying to install PSP to redhat enterprise 4 managed nodes.

During the installation i got this error:

HTTP is disable on the target system.

Can you support me?

Hi,
Did u mean u r installing PSP on a RHEL managed node from SIM?
If yes then as far i know SIM doesn't support installation on Linux OS. its only for windows nodes.

Are you sure? If yes, does mean i need to install manually PSP on all linux managed nodes (proliant hardware).Can you confirm me?
Any other suggestion on managing linux with SIM ?

Hi, When u click on menu deploy->->deploy driver f/w agent-> PSP install
It clearly says for WINDOWS. i can search some document on sim but its late for me today. just search for HPSIM and see the library documents u will find confirm.

I m sure its for Windows only.

To install on linux u need ICE linux. which is newly launched from HP. thro which u can deploy OS/PSP/F/r/Driver al on all even linux nodes.
But its not a free ware i guess. If i get this thread not answered i will explain more.

Note:The Initial ProLiant Support Pack Install feature is only supported on Windows central management servers.
The target system must be a Windows system.

yeah and information about ICE linux (which is same bundle of HPSIM and other plugins) same as ICm windows DVD. see below:
