topic Set Disk Thresholds Task and repeated notifications in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

When a threshold is crossed, I am getting a notification (email and SMS, as configured in Automatic Event Handling), but I am getting it every hour. The correspunding Set Disk Thresholds Task runs every hour, so I gess this task is the culprit - I guess it sees that the threshold is still crossed and generates the event again.

What exactly does the Set Disk Thresholds Task do and it is necessary to run it periodically?

What do I have to change in order to be notified only once?

SIM 5.0 Windows.

TIA

Alex

I`m pretty sure you only have to set it once.

Then the hardware status polling collects the disk info and sends the alert if a threshold is exceeded.
