Change network name

For a managed system, is it possible to change its network name, yet keep the preferred system name unchanged?

Forgot to mention:
The documentation says to use Options -> Discovery to edit a hosts file. But the Discovery tab is missing from my Options pull down. SIM 5.2.1 on RHEL4U6.

Are you signing in as the root user? Make sure that you have Administrator privilege to the CMS.

I reconfigured SIM and now I see the Discovery options. But my original problem is still unresolved - how do you change the network name of a managed system?
