http://yourservername:2301

If your using 5.x Agents, click Options
If your using 6.x Agents, Settings, then Options

scroll down to Trust Mode
You can Trust by name or by Certificate
If you trust by Certificate, You have 2 options:

1) In SIM, go to Options, Security, Certificate, Server Certificate and Export the SIM Server's Cert to a file, copy and paste the contents of the file into the "Compaq Insight Manager 7 Certificate Data" box and Submit Cert
2) type the name of your SIM box into that field next to Get Cert and Click Get Cert.

PS: If you only have a handful of servers with this problem, I would also check these settings on your servers that DONT have this problem and see how they are configured.

I have a handful of servers that have the "Security Trust Issue" in the Version Control portion of SIM. I am not sure how to resolve and wanted to post here as I read up on certificates. Thanks for any help.
