EVA 4000 hardware problems

Hi,

I have problems getting failed hardware on my EVA 4000.

I configured the SMI-S on my CommandView EVA server. Then, I added the CEVA server to my SIM. I see the SAN and I'm getting data collection, health, etc. I need to configure SIM to receive emails when the health changes. Currently, I have a failed disk. The health is Minor with a yellow logo.

I configure tasks based on the events for all my servers. SIM isnt getting any events when health changes...

Any idea how I can receive emails when I have hardware problems with the SAN?

You need to set up the tools that come with the EVA for that.
Have a look at WEBES.
Also depending on what support you have you may be able to use ISEE.
