HP ICE on VMware ESX - Server 2008

I am trying to install HP Insight Control Manager V 2.30 on a windows server 2008 virtual machine (VMWARE esx server) however every time I try to install it It comes up as you must do this in mstsc \console mode....

However there is no console mode with server 2008, I did also try mstsc \admin mode however to my understanding HP ICE is not allowing a VM With 2008 not in "console" mode.

I tried from remote desktop and from the VM client.

Hi Pishoy,

Currently ICM 2.30 is not supported on Windows Server 2008.Its supports only Windows 2003 Ent / Std SP2 or R2 32 bit operating system. It does not support Oracle database. If you need to install ICM on windows 2008, go to the products tab and trigger installation for each indiviual product. And all products are not supported on windows 2008 Server.
