topic sysdatabase error when connecting to SQL2000 Database in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I have the same issue with Larry Shaw in Feb 20 2003.

I am attempting to upgrade from CIM 7 sp1.2 to CIM 7 SP2. In the setup, when it attempts to access the SQL2000 database, it returns a message "invalid object name 'sysdatabases' and will not allow me to continue.

Like Jeff Matthews (April 22nd 2003) reported, I have a domain account that is a dbo of the database and I have tested that that user can run queries against it. I have also tested the local Sa account and that works. However I don't want to use that account as we like to change passwords quite often and also I don't want that password left as clear text in the C:\CreateDNS.log that it seems to create. Any ideas how to fix this.
