8.10.0 reference sp shown on VCA not available in SIM

From the VCA on the server the latest reference support pack available is 8.0.0A. The latest version showing is 8.1.0.0. From SIM I also do not have 8.1.0.0 to deploy. On the HP website I also do not find 8.1.0.0. What's up with this?

Latest Version showing as 8.1.0.0, are you talking about the component version inside 8.00A support pack ?

The middle column gives you the support pack version, whci is the latest o e. The third column should give you any newer software released after the Support Pack.

Hi Paul,
Your screenshot made this easy. Your pointing VCA to 8.00A support pack in the repository of VCRM. But the 8.1.0.0 component is part of some higher version of 8.00A.

Solution
********
1. Either you can make one custom Software Baseline (CSB - an option in VCRM) with 8.1.0.0 component. So that in SIM it will show like the way Support pack is seen. It will be easy to deploy.

OR

2. You can select the particular component from the support pack from the SIM itself during deployment. ( You got to know which Support pack is having that 8.1.0.0 component, so that you can easily select it from SIM)

only the hp insight management agents are 8.10 and not the complete psp. and for why/how the hp insight management agents 8.10 made way into the vca, i think 'update from hp.com now' option may have done it

From SIM I also do not have 8.1.0.0 to deploy

once the complete psp is released and copied/downloaded into vcrm, psp 8.10 can be deployed from sim

On the HP website I also do not find 8.1.0.0. What's up with this

8.10 should soon be available on the hp site

in a nutshell, looking at the screenshot the components/packages are working the way it should
