Hi.

We have a problem in HPSIM 5.2. The VMM user leaves a lot of idle sessions on the Virtual Center. It has one active connection and after several minutes that connection gets idle.

Someone have similar problem or any response?

Thanks

Can you please give some more details as to where you are getting these idle connection status from?

It would also be helpful if you can give more details as to your virtual environment - type of virtualization hosts (VMware, MSVS, etc?), version of VMM you are using, etc.

Are you seeing the idle session messages in the VMM logs?

-Santhosh

Hi we have the same problem:
Virtual host ESX 3.0.2
Virtual Center 2.0.2
VMM

As we look to the actual sessions on the VMWare Virtual Center, we find out that there are lots of idle connections from the user we use to link VMM to VC.

Is like the user connects to check the status of the Virtual Machines, in a schedule time, and instead of close the connection or keep it active (to reuse it for the next schedule check), it autocreate one connection each time.

Any one knows why?

Regards

Andres
