In HP SIM - for virtual machines the software management status always has one of those white "info" icons next to it saying that the VC agent is not found. When I click on the info it shows a message which includes the phrase: "The Version Control Agent will not properly report installed software or firmware when running on Virtual Machine guests"<BR /><BR />So if the software control agent will not display properly is there a way to make sure it shows nothing in the SW column of SIM or are we forced to live with a white "info" icon?
