Disk Threshold. not generating events

I have setup a Disk threshold on for three windows hosts in my HPSIM 5.1 SP1..

The set up of disk threshold was sucessfully sent to the target hosts.

However aftr filling up the space int he local C and D drive; no events were generated..

Any ideas?

If you use the SNMP Trap send included as part of the HP Management Agents GUI do you get an Event generated?

At a guess you've not set the Trap Destination in SNMP.

Trap destination is there.. and Also; the SNMP comnunity string.. Servers are discovered properly in HPSIM..

I tried other hosts.. same..

Any futher clue

Did you use the GUI to send a test trap?
What happened?

If that doesn't work then traps are not getting to HPSIM.

I found the test trap and yes I managed to send a test trap to HPSIM..

But still no result on my disk threshold.

What I did also is I went in one of the target servers Mmgtm Homepage and set the threshold by dragging the bar.. But I notice something.. it is not saving the setting.. it goes back to the edge after I hit save thresholds.

any clue
