SIM Server Count Question

Hi,
Not sure if this is a silly question but have not been able to find any reference to this issue anywhere.
Why do I have a limit of 25 servers for SIM?
I can happily manage 25 boxes (all Windows environment) but cant add any more, either by dicovery or manually adding. If I remove a server I can replace it with another, but cannot go past the count of 25.
Running 5.2 SP2, but the ver I upgraded from had the same restriction.

There's no limit like that in HPSIM. Not sure where there could be an issue. What's the database being used?
Is there plenty of storage available?

Hi Rob,
I didnt think so, thats why this has got me so stumped.
DB is sitting on a DB server running MSSQL2005.
I look forward to any ideas/suggestions.

You might want to consider blowing away the entire HPSIM installation and reinstall? That can be a bit of a pain if you've a lot of customisation. But I'm guessing you havent at this point.

I would check free space on the database server and ensure nothing is being restricted at the DB end.
I've not heard of anything similar.

Hi Rob,

Yeah, i was thinking that. There is a bit of config, but it might be less pain than trying to troubleshoot it in its current state.
I am really thinking that it might be some corruption in the DB - seems too be the only logical thing at the moment.
