I'm installing a SIM server in our datacenter, as my new boss is keen to it, but i've got little experience with it. Can anyone recommend a good source for information or a book for it? I've read the technical reference guide and its like reading stereo instructions.

the information library on the HP SIM web site is certainly the place to start with.

However, the technical refernce guide might not be the best choice to discover the subject.

Try to take a look at this video first :
